McMechen Volunteer Fire Dept. Proudly protects 2100 people living in an area of 4 square miles. Our Department is a private department whose members are on a volunteer status. The McMechen Volunteer Fire Department has served the community of McMechen, WV For the past 80 years. We currently have over 40 members.
